Day 1
  • Introduction and needs analysis
  • Concepts and definitions of Project Management
  • The Project Management cycle
  • Project initiation, requirement formalisation and statement (from a SWOT analysis and linked with the strategic plan of the organisation)
  • Setting up the project organisation and team
    • Roles and responsibilities
Day 2
  • Project business plan development
  • Planning for the project (including WBS, scheduling, resource allocation, budgeting)
    • WBS
    • Network diagrams
    • Bar charts
Day 3
  • Implementation issues (including communication, leadership, team building, motivation, change and conflict management)
  • Control procedures, monitoring and reporting
  • Project evaluation

 

ADVANCED PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Apply project management theory in the practical, work situation.
