What can I say about Bob Dylan? Well about the first time I remember hearing anything he'd written, I was about 4 years old, and my radio station played the Byrd's version of "Mr. Tambourine Man" alot. I LOVED That song. I didn't understand it at all. I just really liked how it sounded. My mom taped his 30th Anniversary concert off the TV, and one day I watched it. I just couldn't believe the songs. He told it, and he told it so well. I really like his voice. It is so real. He isn't trying to put anyone on, be someone he's not. He makes people listen, and speaks to them. If I had to listen to one, and only one person's music for the rest of my life, Bob Dylan is who it would be." ~Girl From the North Country~

How can I put how I feel about Bob Dylan into words? Well ever since I started to listen to his music I have loved it. Ever since I heard "Like a Rolling Stone". I loved that song, and after listening to my dad's old records over and over again, I went out and bought Bob's Greatest Hits, Vol 1. His music is so real, and his lyrics are so true. He certainly was and is an inspiration to me and so many other people. ~Lindsay~

What can I really say about Bob Dylan and do him justice? Well, very little. Ever since I first heard "The Times They Are A-Changin'" I was captivated by his every word and rythm. Although I wasn't born in the generation that his music is linked to, I feel tyhat I can somehow relate. His voice may not be the most beautiful, or his chords the most typical, but his MUSIC when it is all put together is absolutly lengendary. When he said "When you take a good long look at something, that's when you know what it's all about..." he was right, and his music is what proves it ~Jenna

The first time I heard Bob Dylan, I was riding in the car with my mom. I must have been about 5 or 6 and the song was "Lay, Lady, Lay". It was a pretty heavy song for a 6-year-old, but I loved his vioce. I listened to my mom's "The Concert for Bangladesh", which featured him and several others, I knew I had found someone I could really relate to. Now I am older and the lyrics make a lot more sense to me. He has influenced me in so many ways - to write as often as possible, to play the guitar. The songs are like stories that teach me lessons no school could ever teach. And I thank him for that. ~*Kristi*~
