¤ Simona's home town is Constanta, a port city in the Black Sea.

¤ She was born on October 7, 1979.

¤ Started at the Deva Club in 1992.

¤ Her coach is Octavian Belu.

¤ She has a brother named Andrei.

¤ Her parents took her to a gymnastics club when she was 6, and she became interested immediatly.

¤ One of her coaches was Nicole Forminte. Her father, Vasile, works with manufacturing, and her mom, Sofia, is a housewife.

¤ She was the star of 1995's Serie A championships, her team, Gal Lissonese won!

¤ An experienced gymnast has always intelligent opinions such as " I don't agree with the system when you have to compete without a warm-up area in the arena. I think it's dangerous." she says.
