Episode 2 : "The duck flaps away, and Ryouga's here to stay! (hopefully)" Ranma an Ukyou were walking along the sidewalk, next to the river. Ukyou turned her head to him. "So how long have you,-". "A few months now." Ranma answered, knowing the rest of her question. "But, why did you wait until now?" "I had two other fiancee's. So my choice would hurt the feelings of two nice girls, or three girls, if you want to include Kodachi. But today, Akane angered me too much to care, and strangley enough, Shampoo came to tell me that she had called off the engagement. So I merely took the once-in-a-lifetime chance, and headed for Ucchan's. Really, I chose you very shortly after you came back, but I wasn't sure that the feeling was mutual until a few months ago. Even now, I'm not sure if you only love me because of the pre-arranged marraige." "Of course not, Ranma! I love you for many more reasons than that! You're strong, kind, and you're cheery in almost any circumstance! Besides..." She wrapped her arms around him "You're the only guy I know who still called me cute even though I was trying to look like a boy"(Ukyou's 1st appearance), and proceeded with a kiss. Akane was on her knees, still in shock, a few feet away from the pond. "He left me." Soun walked out, now noticing his fainted daughter."What's wrong, Akane? And where's Ranma?" "He left me.", she repeated still in her dizzied phaze."What?" "Ranma left her." said Genma, walking outside, with quite a bump on his forehead, caused by what's now cracked pieces of a floor. Akane got up, and ran, past Genma, into the house, to her room. She lied down, face-first, onto her bed, crying. Thoughts flew throughout her head, flashbacks, of times when she had thought that Ranma was a pervert, and proceeded to give him a serious beat-down, without even letting him give an explination, the times that she said she hated him being near her, but still beat him up whenevery Ukyou or Shampoo showed up. The MULTIPLE times that she exploited his one fear, an incredibly cruel thing to do to ANY phobic... the time she got mad that her saw her naked, although she did the exact same thing, to BOTH forms of Ranma. And then she looked for a memory where he tried to hurt HER. And this struck the highest nerve; he NEVER did. She looked throughout every memory she could find. Not a single one. He took all this abuse, and never struck back. She cried some more. "WHAT?!?!?! Shampoo left again?! HOW COULD SHE?!" "Now, Mousse, don't get too angry. After all-" "After all WHAT?! I've told her of my love for her a billion damn times, and even when she gives up on Ranma, I don't even get a chance! Did you even mention that I was alive to her?!" "Well, that is to say..." "Not even a mention?! Y'know, Cologne, ever since you got here, it's been twice as hard to get near Shampoo! I thought it was because of her 'fiancee', Ranma, but now I know that you simply HATE ME!" Ki began to surround his body at a speed never seen before, even to Cologne. "I never...thought...I'd ever want to use this technique..." "What are you doing, Mousse?!" For once in over 100 years, Cologne was starting to get scared. "Raging Hawk's...." A spear-like gathering of ki formed at Mousse's hands. "SWIPE" The words seemed to echo forever as the Hawk went for it's prey.... Ryouga's eyes opened up, and he slowly regained conciousness. "Shampoo- going to kill..." The rest of the sentence was released in a ki blast, which tore the ropes around him to shreds, along with breaking the chains over the roaps, and destroying the computer which held the lasers in place at the door(....); "AKANE!!!!" The door slowly opened to Akane's room. "Yes?" Akane asked to her visitor, while wiping the tears from her eyes. "Akane?". "Yes?". "Prepare to..." Shampoo then leaped at her with an amount of anger too high to measure. She held Ranma back, and now she was doing the same to poor Ryouga. For that reason alone, she must "DIE!!!".Unfortunately, the bombori went in the opposite direction of the one it should have, after meeting Akane's foot at 35 m.p.h. A fighting conversation ensued."Shampoo, what's going on here?" "Akane take Ryouga away from Shampoo!" "What are you talking about?" "Ryouga defeat Shampoo, but no agree to marraige! Say he love Akane!" "You're crazy! He's never told me that!." "Ryouga spend too much time wandering. Probably no tell you lots of things. Like fact that he have curse of drowned-"She hit the dresser as Akane got a hit in, knocking over a glass of water onto the angry amazon. "Meow!" She headed for the window. "Oh no you don't! What's Ryouga's curse?!" Unfortunately, her grip loosened on the wet cat. Ryouga quickly ran out of a small shack that Shampoo tied him up in, and took a good look at his surroundings. Hmm. He was near Jusenkyou, telling by the 100+ springs outside. How was he going to get to Tokyo in time to save Akane? He ran out, looking for the guide. Maybe HE could help. What he _didn't_ see was 25+ amazons sent there to keep him from leaving. They all quickly jumped him all at once, so that he wouldn't go anywhere. "You no leave!" As they set up a few chains to tie him up, thoughts began to wander through his mind... ***Akane's going to die... ***I already can't do anything about it... ***And I will be forced to marry her killer... ------The world is a dark, cruel, lonely, place.------ Ki began surrounding his body, but his hands where chained together, not alowing him to release it that way... "Roaring Lion Bomb!" Ryouga's words lingered eternally through the amazon's minds in the brief instant that all of his battle aura was released throughout his body, knocking them all at least 20 yards away each... Shampoo was back at the Nekohanten, sitting down at one of the seats, with her great-grandmother at the other. A tea pot was in the middle, used a few seconds earlier to change the amazon back. "So, Shampoo, you've come to kill Akane again." "Yes, great-grandmother. I must destroy all obstacles to Ryouga.....um..." Shampoo had noticed for a while a great number of marks on her great-grandmother's body. "By the way, who bruise you up like that?" Cologne inspected herself, and a bit nervously, replied, "Umm, no one." "Great-grandmother...". Shampoo could tell that she was hiding something. She also new that the tone she just news made it almost impossible to keep secrets from here. "Okay! Mousse did this! He was angry that you still never even partially thought about him when you gave up on Ranma! He got REALLY mad at me for not reminding you..." "Mousse do that?! Why he not try to rematch Shampoo with all this power if he can?!" "He probably doesn't ever want to hurt you." "Hmmm.". She supposed that it could have been the reason. Still..."So you'll rest up here for a few days? That trip to here from China must've worn you out." "Yes, great- grandmother." "I'll get you a few nessasary arms. If you want to get rid of Akane, I doubt bare hands will work. You already tried that, and well, it didn't work.". "Thank you, great-grandmother.". "Oh, no, she's going to kill Akane!" Mousse had listened to the first few seconds of the conversation. He really didn't care deeply about Akane, but no one deserved to be killed. He got up, and straining to keep his vision, headed for the Tendo house... [FADEOUT] Roll end credits... End of "Sudden Changes", volume 2.
