Episode 1 : "Everyone snaps" It was a normal day in the Cat cafe. Business was moving along a bit slowly, but it was late at night, so it was to be expected. The crashing noises coming from Shampoo's room was to be expected. After all, once again, Ranma sneaked his way out of a date with her. What wasn't expected, though, was three, single, words. "SHAMPOO GIVE UP!!!" Cologne then walked into Shampoo's room, asking, "Shampoo, what's wrong?""Shampoo had it. Give up. Ranma never going to marry Shampoo, so look for other husband." "But you know, that by amazon rule, you can't." "Me no care!" Suddenly, Shampoo flipped into the air, though not by her own free will. "Now, you listen to me! I've spent 15 months trying to get Ranma to marry you, and there is no way that you're giving up now!!!". "Shampoo spend _18_ months trying to get to Ranma, and he no give up, so I DO!" Suddenly, a message was shouted out from across the room : "You've got mail."."..." Cologne turned to the direction of the sound, then began walking toward it. "Stupid computer, I don't know why I got it in the first place. "It new amazon law, grandmother." "Others must keep in touch with those who leave, even if only for short while. "Don't remind me." She typed a few keys, and looks carefully at the screen. ******************************NEW AMAZON LAW******************************** Article 15, Section 12, By-article 13, now sates, "Any amazon, not already married, but engaged to a man, by terms of defeat, may, only once, terminate the engagement, if the future groom agrees to the termination. " [END OF TRANSMISION] **************************************************************************** This was followed by a cute, close-eyed smile by Shampoo... Two weeks later, Shampoo was in China. "Headed back" She could still remember her words. "Go to village, no man there. Can wait for later. Shampoo train for now." "*sigh*". She started to wonder wether or not it was a good decision. But her biggest worry (Merely paranoid, of course) was of a man jumping out of no-where, and defeating her before she reached the village. Then she wouldn't have a choice... Meanwhile, Ryouga was lost, *again*. "Stupid Ranma!" And other phrases, accompanied by words that I cannot *legally write down. He had recently challenged Ranma to another fight for Akane, and lost, again. So he decided to train a bit in China (So he headed for the drugstore...) *Yes, I know that this is the uncensored internet... Anyway, he began walking down a path, and he noticed that he was near Jusenkyou, by the bamboo poles on springs a near distance forward. As he got nearer, he decided to walk along the outer edge. This was where he saw a large cliff. And this was also where he remembered his, er transformation, so he decided to give it a dose of "Baku sai tenketsu!!!". Unfortunately, what he DIDN't notice was that Shampoo was meditating on TOP of the cliff (*gasp*), and that in a few seconds the cliff would be gone... Thirty seconds earlier. Shampoo was relaxing, sitting, meditating, thinking, and silencing everything out of her ears and mind. "Stupid Ranma. I live without him. Find new husband. Train! Get stronger! Shampoo grew weak trying to get Ranma's attention. Shampoo-" "Aiyaa!!" Shampoo screamed as she fell down, into a spring. On her way, though, she took Ryouga with her... Ryouga fell one direction, Shampoo fell another. Ryouga was only thinking,"Oh, no, not again! What am I gonna turn into NOW!?!?". Shampoo was too surprised to think. Then she surfaced. She looked around, realizing where she was in an instant. Then she suddenly realized that she was inside on of the springs! Then she, slowly decided to look down at herself, trying to find out what she was NOW. She saw a blouse. The same, purple one she had put on earlier. Still a bit baffled, she turned her neck to the left, and she saw... her arm. "Aiyaa! Shampoo fall in spring of drowned girl! Am okay now!" This was when it hit her, someone probably crumbled that cliff. And if it was a man, she was in a bit of trouble... Ryouga, on the other hand, finally came out. He took a look-see, simlilar to the one Shampoo had just taken. He was a... pig. He quickly jumped out and changed back. (Don't ask HOW he got the water or clothing, simply watch "An Akane To Remember", THEY never bothered to explain (^_^).) "Well, at least there's nothing to worry abou-" Before he could finish, a pair of warm arms wrapped themselves around him, followed by the sweet wisper of "Wo ai ni.". He stopped all thought, seeing that a girl was hugging him, something which has stopped all of his thoughts before. Then, after a minute or so, it hit him: (Flash-back time...) Shampoo had her arms wrapped around Ranma, and as she starred at him, she said the words, "Wo ai ni"... He quickly turned around. "Shampoo, what're you-". His mouth was closed by Shampoo's, hands, and she looked at him, happily, with her eyes closed. "Hello, groom." Ryouga quickly jumped back, barely missing another spring. "W-w-w-what the?" Shampoo quickly jumped in his general direction, and landed right in front of him. "Why you run away, groom?" "Huh? What do you mean, groom?" "You defeat Shampoo. Amazon law." "But aren't you already engaged to Ranma?" "Shampoo break it off." "Oh. But wait! I didn't defeat you! It was an accident! I didn't even-" Ryouga's words were stopped by a kiss from Shampoo, a tradition that she almost forgot to do. "Besides, you turn Shampoo back to girl. Shampoo very happy. Decided to marry you." As she was speaking, she did't realized that Ryouga was already a good +30 yards away, running like crazy. "Ryouga! You no run!", she says just as she jumps and lands right in front of him, followed by another hug.(Looks/Sounds familiar?)"Shampoo, I- well, I, I just can't!" "Why?" "Because I l-l-l-l... [tremble]..." He then screams as loud as he can "BECAUSE I LOVE AKANE!!! Shampoo?". She tilts her head down, shaking, with battle aura radiating from her... "Okay, then. Akane obstacle AGAIN. Now Ranma no can stop me-" "Shampoo? Are you okay?" Shampoo turns to him. "Is okay! Can I at least have good-bye hug?" "Umm..." He hesitantly looks at her. "I, suppose so." She glomped onto him. "I suppose you no would like if I kill Akane.", she wispered into his ear "Of course not! I'd-" Suddenly he fell to the floor, unconsious, after she quickly touched a pressure point on the back of his neck. "And now Ryouga no can stop me _either_..." [Ranmaaaa!!! Commercial break time!!!] It was morning in Nerima. The sun was shining quitely on the lake. The only sound heard was from the chirping of the birds, and of the silent smooth flapping of small paper fans. "RANMA YOU BAKA!!!" The silence was suddenly broken, along with the Tendo home's foundation, by a brief fight-er, a brief chapter in the "beautiful relationship" between Saotome Ranma and Tendo Akane."YOU BAKA!!! YOU BAKA!!!" "It wasn't me!!!" "Oh, sure, NOW who was it? Hmm? Let me guess. Haposai?" "But-" Unfortunately, Ranma's explanation was cut drasticaly short by the slamming of a mallet. "THAT'S IT!!!" The mallet previously part of Ranma's ribs suddenly learned to fly. "I have had it with this 'blame everything on Ranma' <>! I have had it with being slammed on whenever I even look in the direction of another woman, even though you never even THINK about a date between us two!!!" "And I have had it with the <>-ing mallet strikes!!!" Out of nowhere, Genma pokes his out of the front door."Ranma, what do you think you're doing?!" "Something I should have a long time ago..." Shampoo was running forward, and Nerima was in the distance... "Me almost there. Going kill Akane. Then Ryouga all mine." "You're going to WHAT?!?!" Genma stared at Ranma with an "about to faint" look on his face. "What part of "I'm leaving" didn't register, pops???" Suddenly Ranma stoped packing, mainly because his face was now a foot deep into the floor. "Have you learned nothing of honor, boy? We made a long-ago promise to have you wed to one of the Tendo daughters!" Genma then takes Ranma's place in the floor. "Honor my @$$!!! YOU made the promise, and even then, you made ANOTHER promise to wed me to ANOTHER girl (Ukyou), and out of HUNGER! You know NOTHING of honor! GOOD-BYE!!!" The door slammned shut, knocking a few loose chips onto Genma's head. As Ranma was running away in anger and frustration, he suddenly slamed into something, er, some_one_. "Shampoo!" "Hi Ranma! Ranma..." "Yes, Shampoo?" He was still wondering why ten seconds had passed without a hug. "I break off engagemen! We no longer married." She then hugs him. "You mean, you broke up with me?" "Yes. You no happy?" "No! Relieved, actually. What about the law?" "Oh, that. Um, Ranma?" "Yes, Shampoo.?" "You okay with break up, yes?" "Of course!" "Aiya! Thank you Ranma! Shampoo find new husband two day ago. Only needed your O.K. Happy now!" This was followed by yet another hug. "Bye now, Ranma!" She runs off, not telling him of her new "curse". "Ya know, if I didn't know better, I'd SWEAR that her hair turned red." It's nightime at Uchan's. The sounds of foods frying and the smell of sweet Okunomiyaki was in the air. Unfortunately the stillness of the room erupted into a fight. Between Ukyou. And the stove. "TSUBASA NO BAKA!!!" "C'mon, Ukyou! Just a date!" Picking up her gigantic spatchula, she began to mumble..."Tsu..ba..sa!!!" The power of that swing would have been enough to drive Tsubasa and the stove BOTH into the ground, but it was stopped the second Ukyou's eyes registered Ranma being on top of the stove, and poor Tsubasa unconsious under Ranma's feet. "Oh, Ranchan!" As she hugged him, she turned her head up to him. "Would you like to stay?" "Actually,-" She thought to herself. 'Hmmph. He probably came to freeload again. I can't believe this. Why hasn't he chosen ME yet?! Why won't he stay? What doesn't he like about me? It must be Akane. Ball n' chaining him! Yah, that's it. Why, I oughta-' "-yes." It was in a few seconds that Ukyou realized that she had fallen on the floor from shock. She was now in Ranma's arms. "Ukyou? Are you alright?" Her only reply was "Yes? You mean that-" The smiling look on his face was all she needed for reply. The Tendo house. Only at night was it this quiet. But sudden changes were taking place. And it would start tonight. "Akane die soon. Ryouga mine. She only obstacle. Obstacles are for killing. And Shampoo _will_ kill." [FADEOUT] Roll end credits... End of "Sudden Changes", volume 1.
