FBI NEEDS PUBLICS HELP TO IDENTIFY THIS WOMAN The FBI is seeking the identity of the woman in the picture. The picture was found in the personal possessions of convicted killer, John Smith. Smith was convicted of killing his ex-wife Janice Hartman, who disappeared in 1974 from Wayne County, Ohio. In April 1980, skeletal remains were found near Morocco, Indiana, which were not identified as Hartman's until 2000. John Smith's second wife, Fran Gladden-Smith, also disappeared (from West Windsor Township, New Jersey Oct. 4, 1991) and has not been found. When Smith was arrested in California, this picture along with several others were found in his possession, Also found in his possesion were skull fragments and unidentified teeth. THIS CHILD WAS FOUND ABANDON IN THE UNIT BLOCK RHODE ISLAND AVE. N.E. WASHINGTON D.C.. THE NEW BORN CHILD WAS CLOTHED IN A KNITTED WHITE BLANKET WITH SKY BLUE AND PINKISH-ORANGE BORDER. SHE WAS WEARING A ONE-PIECE SLEEPER, WHITE IN COLOR WITH COLORFUL CONSTRUCTION MACHINERY & DALMATIAN PUPPIES, WHICH FASTENED IN THE FRONT. SHE WAS ALSO WEARING HAND KNITTED LIGHT PURPLE SWEATER AND BONNET.
CASTRO VALLEY
At approximately 6:30 p.m., on Thursday, May 1, 2003, Alameda County Sheriff’s Office Deputies found a female body behind Carrow’s Restaurant, located at 2723 Castro Valley Boulevard in Castro Valley, California. The victim was a mixed race juvenile between 12 and 17 years old. She was approximately 5’1” in height and weighed about 110 pounds. She was wearing a butterfly-style plastic clip in her long, dark brown, wavy hair. In her ears, she was wearing medium-size gold hoop earrings with a braid and diamond cut design. She has nearly perfect teeth. At the time she was found, she was wearing blue, white, yellow and black plaid pants and a red, white and blue short sleeved shirt. The cause of death is unknown at this time. The "DOB" field is an approximation.
ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS On December 10, 1988, the skeletal remains of a white female were found off lower Bayside Drive in Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey. She was between 15 and 20 years of age.
BLAIRSTOWN NJ On July 15, 1982, the remains of a white female were found at the north end of Cedar Ridge Cemetery on State Hwy 94, in Warren Co., NJ. This homicide victim, between 14 and 18 years of age, is believed to have been deceased for up to one week before her discovery.
GLOUCESTER COUNTY The skeletal remains of a white female were found on February 4, 1990 in a wooded area that is now the Deptford Township area of Gloucester County, NJ. Age Now: 32 years.
PENNSYLVANIA On July 11, 1995 the dismembered remains of a woman were found in a maroon suitcase covered with a green trash bag along the Brandywine Creek in Downingtown, PA. An autopsy determined that the cause of death was "homicidal violence" and that she had been dead 3-7 days prior to discovery. She is estimated to be between 17-25 years old.
PHILADELPHIA This white/hispanic child was found in the company of an adult male who had no birth documentation for the child. The child was believed to be born in Mexico on or about October 1998. The child was then brought to Van Nuys, California where he may have been purchased by the adult male. In mid-February 1999, the adult male then transported the child to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The child's identity is not known.
PHILADELPHIA UNIDENTIFIED This unidentified homicide victim was found on May 27, 1994 on a vacant lot adjacent to 311 N. Lawrence Street in Philadelphia near I-95 and the Banjamin Franklin Bridge. The victim's decomposed body was found wrapped in brown and yellow or orange striped sheets inside a multi-colored pink, blue, and green nylon bag. The victim is described as a black male, four to six years of age, 38" tall, and 41 lbs. His right front tooth was chipped. The "DOB" and "Age Now" fields are approximations. This child may be from outside the Philadelphia area.
