UNIDENTIFIED WHITE MALE
Deptford Twsp., Gloucester County, N.J.
On Oct. 6th, 1974, a 17-20 year old White male was struck and killed on an on-ramp to SH42 (North-South Freeway) in Deptford
Twsp., Gloucester County, N.J. The young man was 5'6, 135lbs., blue eyes, brown hair, mustache and had new (extensive and
costly) braces on both upper and lower teeth. There were no other identifying marks on the body - scars, tattoos or birth marks...
and , naturally, no ID, either. He's now buried in an unmarked grave here in the county. (One idea is that SH42 basically connects
the Walt Whitman Bridge with Atlantic City, via I-76, SH42 and the Atlantic City Expressway to Atl. City). Since the young man was
struck on the on-ramp, it suggests that he may have been hitchhiking to or from the shore.... from Penna..
