If you own a laptop, GPS, MP3 player or any other
electronic device, here are some steps you can take to limit your risks of
permanently losing your assets.
- Be sure to keep your devices in a safe place.
Never leave them in plain view for a thief to become tempted.
- If your product has a password protection option,
use it. This may not deter a thief from stealing it; however, it will keep
them from using it.
- Register your product with the manufacturer. Why

- Purchase a tracking device through a manufacturer
