Fundraising is an important Standing Committee for all Student Councils. It's members have the responsibility to raise money for their treasury so later money can be used to support other events and also give the whole Student Council gifts, like our T-shirts that we order. The Fundraising committee meets on Tuesday mornings. Me, Sam Pine, is the chair. There we brainstorm ideas for possible fundraising events. Once we have an idea we make sub-committees and then they take over from there, but that doesn't mean that we, the ones who thought of the idea, can't have anything more to do with it. We can still have input on the event and be active in the sub-committee. |
