Friends of Beck's Mill is a nonprofit organization dedicated breathing new life into the mill. Of many mills built in Washington County, only Beck's Mill is still standing. On November 10, 2005 papers were signed by Joyce Allen and the Andersen family giving ownership of the mill and 14 acres to the Friends of Beck's Mill. A feasibility study is underway to determine the future of the mill.

Even in it's dilapidated condotion, Beck's Mill attracts a lot of attention. Many Washington County natives remember picnics, family reunions and other activites at the mill. This is truly a unique place, and we intend to help preserve it for the future.

Visit this site regularly to see progress reports, photo's of the restoration process, and schedules of activities at the mill.

See you at the mill!
