| Website Name | Content | Quality |
|---|---|---|
| The Aerie Home Page-Disney's Gargoyles | Links to other pages, including 2004's The Gathering, show synopsis, including technical info (specific voice actors, first airing date, etc.) | A good site if you're looking for a ton of links in one place, but very little in the way of its own content. Episode guide, quotes, poetry and filk. "All I Really Need to Know, I Learned From watching Gargoyles" page is good for a chuckle or two 2 1/2 stars. |
| The Gargoyle's Bookshelf | Links to almost everything! Links to fanfics, both the webmaster's own and The Gargoyles Fan Website, Filk lists, historical and literary background, even a module to play Gargoyles' characters in the World of Darkness RPG system | This site is fantastic. It provides both activities and information, as well as plenty of links to other places. 5 stars at least! |
| The Gargoyles Fan Website | This site is devoted mostly to Gargoyles fanfiction. There's both a General and an Adult section, as well as a chatroom, an episode list, an extensive list of characters, enemies, and even the Latin translations of all the spells cast by characters throughout the show. And yes, my fics are there, too. | While the fanfic section is updated regularly, the website itself is not. A nicely organized site, with lots of content and enough fics to keep you coming back. 4 1/2 stars--would be 5 if the actual site was updated more often. Please note, this rating does NOT refer to the actual content/quality of any of the fics contained therein. |
| LCJ's Gargoyles Primer | Basic Gargoyles history, character bios, some images | Fairly decent site. Informative, but nothing unique or outstanding. One long page, few links to internal pages, more links to other pages. 3 stars |
| Mr. William Shakespeare and the Internet | This isn't a Gargoyles site, it is a very educational and informative site about Shakespeare's life and works. This page contains not only annotated copies of all of Shakespeare's plays, but also a timeline of his life, Shakespearean festivals for those truly obsessed with the Bard, and much more. | Another well-designed and well-organized site, it also has the distinction of being associated with an actual university, thus making the information contained therein much more likely to be accurate and trustworthy, which, as we know, can be a rarity on the net... 5 stars |
| Section Eight's Gargoyles Fansite! | Another really well done Gargoyles site. Not only is there an FAQ, but Section 8 is also home to archives, forums, trivia quizzes, and a whole lot more! A lot of information both about the shows content and technical backgrounds. Great for both beginner and longtime fan. | What makes Section 8 so fantastic is that it is in constant communication with Greg Weisman, the director of the series. Got questions about just what the heck was going on? Click on the Ask Greg link. It even includes answers to the most recent questions and a whole bunch of ramblings about what is going on in his life and the future of the show. It even explains why The Goliath Chronicles sucked so badly... 5 stars |
| Tales of the Daoine Sidhe | A website for those interested in the folklore of the Sidhe and Tuatha De Danaan. Contains both collections of ancient Irish myths as well as a bit of modern scholarship about the Pre-Christian Celts and the Tuatha themselves. | A nicely designed site, one obviously more for information and scholarship than for entertainment. The layout is clear and easy to follow, and the stories told in a brisk, energetic manner. 4 stars. |
