The chekered fabric is fairly light weight and a close match to teh texture of the original early Westy checkerboard fabrics. The color is NOT near that of the original, so ths is not good for a restoration. But it is GREAT if you do not have any curtains (other than the one behind the suicide cabinet), particularly if you can get the fabric for less than $20!! The solid brown fabric is an attempt to make curtains from the same period fabric.
