My name is Michelle Gordon and I welcome you to A Mother's Voice, a non-profit organization created for the purpose of bringing together mothers of children who are currently serving time in the nation's prison system. Our intent is to create a safe, user-friendly environment where these women can come together in friendship and fellowship in order to support one another through open and honest communication. Below are a few of the options this website provides to members which will allow them to not only cope, but to persevere through the hard and emotionally draining times.

• This is a member's only site. Non-members will not be able to   access any of the features listed below. All information is strictly protected, and is not given or sold to any person, company or organization, public or private. We want all our members to feel secure and safe while they are on the website.
• This website will allow members to post on a Private Message Board. Only members will be allowed to read and post, so privacy is insured. 
• The Message Board will also be monitored for illicit language, so it's safe for children to read.
• This site will feature regularly scheduled chats in our private chat room. No special software is needed; all that is required is a Yahoo! Account I.D. and Internet Explorer.
• A Calendar of Events will be maintained so members will not miss any important events or news. Members can also choose to have reminders of these events sent to their personal emails.
• Members can exchange emails with each other, or can choose to keep their email addresses anonymous.
• Members can also upload pictures to the site, as well as other types of files. For security purposes, all files will automatically be scanned for viruses by Yahoo!
• No fighting or bashing is allowed. Any members found to be in violation of the website or Yahoo! Terms of Use will be expelled from the club.
