This is one of my poems.
Walk With Me.
Don't walk ahead of me.
Walk beside of me my friend.
Reach and take my hand in yours,
Tell me how you've been.
Don't look down on me.
We are equals in my eyes.
We walk on the same earth,
Under the same blue sky.
I was created from your rib.
So I carry half the blame.
Love me as you love yourself,
And I will do the same.
And if I go before you,
I hope you know it happened just because.
Don't think about who I could have been.
But the person that I was.
