The Proclamation                

 

I.   The proclamation

     A. Rev 5:1

        " And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on

          the throne a book written within and on the

          backside, sealed with seven seals"

     B. Rev 5:2

        "And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud

         voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose

         the seals thereof?"

     C. What is this book?

        1. Really a rolled-up scroll

        2. Sealed so securely with seven seals

        3. The seals make it very important

           a. History informs us that under Roman law

           b. All legal documents pertaining to life

              and death

           c. Were sealed seven times

     D. A number of theologians believe that this is the

        actual deed to the earth
