Anny's drunken car crash into a house
CAR VS. HOUSE November 09 - At 00:58hrs the Stepney Volunteers were dispatched to 45 Blanket Meadow Road for a M.V.A., “car vs. house.” Rescue 120, Engine 101 and Engine 104 responded under the command of Asst. Chief Scott Rose Sr. Upon arrival the occupant of the vehicle had already been removed, crews began patient care and started an investigation on the house. Connecticut Light & Power and the town building inspector were notified, due to the structural damage done to the building and the damage done to the electrical service to the house. Units were placed back in service, in a little over 2 hours after the time of dispatch.
