Joey and I got married on September 3, 1999 at 7:00 pm. We had a small gathering of close friends and family. Aron and my mom walked me down the aisle. My best friend, Cara was my maid of honor. Joey's dad was his best man. Our ring bearer and flower girl were children of a close friend, who I babysat for before I had my own children.
We had our pictures taken at the museum in our town. The photographs were taken by S&S Photography. They are wonderful people, and they do amazing work! I am very glad we chose them to do our pictures.
The only thing I regret is that by the time we were done all the formal stuff like toasts, dances, gifts, everybody was leaving. So we didn't get to visit with everybody like we wanted to. But it was a lot of fun. We had planned for about 70 people, but we only had about 50! Our families pitched in to help out with everything from decorating to food to the "toasting beverage"--sparkling apple juice! We weren't able to have alcohol in the hall and I was also 5 months pregnant...so no alcohol for me!
