A brief list of the major features in Build-N-Book:
- Easy to use: All the screens in Build-N-Book are very simple and easy to use.
It works on the standard accounting principles but all the accounting rules are
handled by the application so you do not have to be an accounting or computer expert to use or understand this
software.
- Account management: Creating and managing accounts are very easy procedures.
Account groups are provided for categorizing of accounts. Some commonly used account groups are
provided in the system (e.g. Dealers, Consultants, Expenses etc), Others can be created by the user.
- Apartments/Shops management: Enter all information about apartments and shops in a project
including location, charges, area etc.
- Payment/Installment Schedule: Enter schedule (due date, due amount etc) of payments
for bookings of apartments and shops. View dues up-to-date or total dues of any customer
according to their payment schedule
- Bookings: Enter booking information about apartments and shops. An account is created
for each booking. This account is used in transaction entries against this booking.
- Cancellations: Build-N-Book also allows the cancellations of bookings and track and manage
amount paid refund against these cancellations. Also provide reports for cancellations.
- Inventory: Enter inventory item information including name and units which are used by that inventory item.
Enter purchasing transactions for purchasing of inventory items. View reports about your purchasing.
- Transactions: Transactions are managed through payment and receipt entries. Transactions can
be made through cash and cheques. Management of unclaimed cheques is provided. Build-N-Book support Payment,
Receipt and Purchasing transactions.
- Reports: Build-N-Book provides a variety of reports to view and analysis of the progress of your business.
It provides reports for the Bookings, Cancellations, Payments, Receipt, Dues and Recoveries against bookings etc.
Each report provide many options so you can choose to view detailed report including every transaction of every account,
or transactions between specific dates.
- Security: Build-N-Book restricts unauthorized personals to access or view your data. It
has a simple yet powerful security system. A login/password is required to run the application.
You can create as many login/password as you want and give them to the individual who are
allowed to run this application.
- Data backup and restore: Build-N-Book include built in backup and restore functions directly in the program.
This allows you to quickly make backup copies of your data to floppy disk, hard drive, or
any other writeable media to protect yourself against data loss.
- Help: Extensive help is available on all screens of the Build-N-Book. You can press F1
display help.
