~ !!RING RING!! !!RING RING!! !!RING RI..!! Jesse rolled over to see what time it is. His digital clock read 8:00 A.M.
"8 o' clock..?" Jesse muttered to himself, "grr..hmph"
He went back to sleep and let his machine pick up.
"Yo, I aint here . You kno the drill. Later…..Beeep!"
"Hey Jesse!" Greg's voice came on, "Wake up. We have to be in the studio in 30 min. Frankie's swinging by in 15. Later…Click"
"Shit, man…" Jesse muttered as he forced himself off the bed.
He went into the washroom and brushed his teeth and combed his hair. He walked back to his room, looked to see what clothes he had and finally threw on his oh so famous TJ shirt and a pair of blue cargos. He walked around his room seeing what he would need.
"This is what you get for being in a boy band! Wake up calls at 8 in the morning…on a Saturday!!!!"
He went downstairs to grab a quick breakfast before the others came. As he walked down the stairs , he could smell the bacon and eggs on the stove. His mom was putting toast on the table. His sister Lea and brother Timmy were already up and eating away.
"Morning hun" His mom said as she gave him a quick kiss on the cheek.
"Mornin Mom" he kissed her back. He walked around the table to his siblings. He kissed his sister good morning.
"Hey squirt" he said to Timmy, ruffling his hair.
"Jessetopher! I'm not a squirt!" Timmy replied , slapping Jesse's hand away. "I'm bigger than a squirt!"
Jesse chuckled. "Where you off to Jess?" asked his sis.
"I'm goin down to the studio to record."
"Can I come?" asked Lea. "Oh! ME TOO!!" Timmy screamed out.
Jesse gave them both look. "No way!"
His mom raised an eyebrow at Jesse. "Jesse…be nice. And anyways they cant
go. cuz I'm bringing them shopping with me."
Jesse shook his head and muttered "Fine…whatever. I gotta go. Frankie's gonna be here soon." All of a sudden, a car honked outside. "That's Frankie" Jesse said. He grabbed his windbreaker and a piece of toast and ran outside to Frankie's Integra. Frankie rolled down the window and unlocked the passenger door.
"Hey Jess, morning. Whusup?" "Jesse looked back toward his house. Lea and Timmy were running out the door. "What do you want?." Jesse asked. Frankie unlocked the side door for Jesse.
"Jesse, momtold us to give you your lunch." Lea said.
"Alrite then. Go back inside." Jesse took his lunch and got into Frankies car.
"I hope you dont mind but I gotta pick up everyone else. They're all at Matt's house.
By that time they had reached Matt's house. Frankie gave two honks and waited. A minute later the door swung open and out came Chris, Greg, and Matt. They somehow all found room in the car and off they went. They all exchanged hellos and good morning with each other. On the way to the studio Greg pulled out a CD and popped it in the CD player.
"What is it?" asked Chris.
Greg ignored him and started to sing to the song that came on. It was Nsync 's Celebrity.
Matt just looked at them and said, "Well at least one of us is rehearsing."
"Hey Alli. I'm outside your house. Get down here." Click.
Alli looked out her window and saw Jodi's mom's silver convertible Eclipse. Jodi was waving up at her and so she waved back.
She called out "I'll be down in a minute" Jodi nodded her head in understanding. She grabbed her purse and ran down stairs. She screamed out to her mom, who was somewhere in the house,
"I'm leaving mom. I'll call back later" She heard her mom yell back "Alrite sweetie. Have fun. Don't get into any trouble!" Alli grabbed a packet of pop tarts from the box and ran out the front door. She got to the car and flopped inside.
"Good morning Mrs. Roseman . Mornin Jo."
"Morning Alli." Mrs. Roseman replied.
"Hey, Jo, do you know what we're gonna be doin today?"
Jodi shook her head. "Nope. Have no clue. I at least hope it something fun."
Jodi turned the radio on to Q101. Linkin Park's In the End was playing. Jodi squealed! "Ahhhh…Linkin Park!! OMG!! They are so cute! …in the end it doesn't even matter…" Jodi sighed.
Alli laughed in the backseat. "Jodi, you're hilarious. You are so obsessed with them, I swear. I bet if you met them, you'd faint on the spot ."
Mrs. Roseman chuckled. "I bet you would too Jodi. Oh, Claudia called yesterday. She told you to meet her in Studio A."
Jodi nodded in reply. She changed the station to Radio Disney .She started to sing to the tune that was playing. " Upside down bouncing off the ceiling inside out stranger to this feeling got no clue what i should do ill go crazy if i cant get next to you…"
Alli joined in. After the song was over. Mrs. Roseman looked at the girls and said "Wow. You guys should go on a talent search or something. You guys sound good together." Jodi gave her a mom a your-just-saying-that-cuz-your-my-mom look. "No I really mean it. You guys should and besides Jo you know how to play the guitar and Alli you know how to play the drums. Just get a few more people and you could be a hip cool rock band!" her mom said.
Jodi shook her head. "Mom…you're embarrassing! "
her mom just laughed. "Okay, we're there. Get out since you don't like to hang with your cool mom. Haha. have fun girls. Call me on my cell if you girls need a ride."
"Bye mom" "Bye Mrs. Roseman, thanks for the ride" Alli and Jodi stood there and watched her mom drive away.
Jodi turned to Alli, "Well, that was fun. hehe. Let's go. We suppose to meet Claud in Studio A." The two girls turned and walked into the building, not knowing what they were to expect.
