~*~*~*~ Chapter 4~*~*~*~
Chris looked around at everyone in the audience and saw a familiar face. It's Kylie! His heart was beating so fast, but he snapped back into reallity and remembered that he was in the middle of doing a show. It was his chance to show Kylie who he really was. Chris serenaded Kylie with "Someone To Hold Me Tonight". He kissed the first rose and gave it to her. All the fans were so jealous. After the show, Dream Street went backstage to rest for a few minutes and then they were going to do the signing.

"Did you know that guy who gave you the rose because it looked like he knew you!" McKenzie questioned. She had this feeling they knew each other somehow.

"Yeah, kinda. He was the guy I bumped into yesterday- that's Chris." Kylie smelled the sweet scented rose.

"Get with him!!!! Not only is he fine, but also talented. He seems sweet too. Then after you get with him, hook us up with his other fine friends!" the girls laughed.
"Did you know that girl you gave the flower to?" Greg wiped the sweat off his forehead and took a swig of the ice cold water. Like McKenzie, he had a feeling he knew the girl somehow.

"Why?" Chris asked.

"Just wondering, it seemed like you did."

"That was the girl I met yesterday at the hotel." Chris replied. He was happy that she came even though she probably had no clue whatsoever who they were.

"She was cute ... and so were her friends! Hey, be a pal, Chris- help us out."

"After I help myself out." The guys laughed and got ready to go see all their fans.
Since Becca, Kori, Kylie and McKenzie were at the front of the line, they didn't have to wait very long to meet the guys. When it was finally their turn, Kylie hugged each of the guys and told them that even though she wasn't a huge, psychotic fan like most of the girls, they still did a great job. Chris was the last one she was going to talk to.

"You didn't tell me you were in a band. I think you left out that little detail." Kylie smiled at him. She loved the way he looked, even if he was all sweaty. But to her, that made it even better.

"Sorry about that, it must have slipped my mind."

"How can something like that slip your mind? I know if I was a singer or something, it wouldn't slip my mind ... not unless I tripped over something, like say ... bottles of hair gel." she couldn't help but mess with him. He laughed at her remark.

"I guess it also slipped my mind to get your number."

"But even if I gave you my home number, you wouldn't be able to reach me. You see, I'm not from Pine Valley. I'm on a road trip with my friends." Kylie explained.

"Well then how about you meet up with us in Trenton, New Jersey. That's our next stop on our tour. Then maybe we could chill there since this is our last day here." Chris hoped she was going to come along. He really liked her and he hoped she liked him back in return.

"That sounds great! How long are you guys gonna be in Trenton?"

Kylie loved the sunglasses Chris was holding in his hands.

"A few days."

"Alright, that's cool. I'll s–" she was interrupted.

"Can I still get your cell phone number or something so that we can meet up somewhere?" Kylie nodded and looked around for something she could write her number on. She finally found a gum wrapper, wrote down her number and handed it to him.

His hazel eyes read the number, then Chris placed it in the pocket of his denim jacket.

"I'll call you." Chris said as the security guards urged Kylie to move faster.

"Okay, bye!" She gave him a little wave and headed for the door.

Then she stopped to turn around. Chris was signing a CD for a cute, little girl with pigtails. "And thank you for the rose!"

The screaming fans were so loud that Kylie wasn't sure Chris heard her or not, but he looked up and said," You're welcome. "

Looking at his face, her heart melted. She flashed him another smile and was so happy that she was going to get another chance with him in Trenton.

"You like him, don't you?" Kori asked as they stood outside Sam Goody. Barely any cars drove by.

"Yeah." Kylie could feel herself blush. "Hey, umm ... is it okay if we go to Trenton by tomorrow? Chris wants to meet up ..."

"Sure! We'll get to see a new place and you'll get to be with Chris again. Awwww...how cute! So after you guys hook up, then can you help us out?!!!" The girls laughed.

While walking towards the car, Kylie took one last look at Sam Goody. The trip was going pretty well so far ...
