~*~*~*~ Chap. 1 - The First Day~*~*~*~
~ It was midday and 15 year old Shontay was so tired she could barely stay awake in her last period class. She had been up all night baby-sitting a sick baby just to earn enough money to pay her mom back for the tickets to a Dream Street concert. Dream Street ws her favorite band. She was excited but to tired to show it.

~ "Shontay Williams... can you please tell the class what you were thinking about so we can all be informed of whatever it was that was so important you don't have to take part in MY class!" her teacher said with a scowl on her face.

~ "Oh I'm sorry Miss Welsh. I'm just so tired." she said trying to sound inocent.

~ Just when she thought she was in deep the bell rang for the end of the day and the end of the week. Shontay let out a sigh of relief and left the class to her locker as fast as she could. When she got to the bus she realized she forgot her Chemistry homework that was due on Monday, She ran back into the school and got it but when she got back out her bus was gone.

~ "CRAP!!!" she exclaimed. Just then a guy catching a football his friend had thrown ran into her and knocked her down. "HEY WATCH IT!!" she yelled at the guy.

~ "Oh I'm so sorry." he apologized helping her up. When she looked up at his face she realized it was Chris Trousdale. HEr favorite member of Dream Street was helping her up of the ground!!!

~ "Thanks... it's ok. I've been knocked over before." she gave him her sweetest smile.

~ "My name is Chris." he said holding out his hand.

~ "I know." she took it. "I mean.... I'm Shontay."

~ "Let me guess... Dream Street fan?" he said wiht a half smile.

~ "Yea I'm accually coming to your concert tomorrow night."

~ "That's kewl. Are you brining some friends with you or something?"

~ "YEa my best friends Bailey and Kelsey. Bailey is like in love with Jesse and Kelsey is like in love with Frankie."

~ Chris laughed and asked who she liked best. Just when she was about to answer her friend Justin pulled up in his car and she got in.

~ "When can I see you again?" Chris yelled over Justin's sterio.

~ "Find me at the concert" she waved goodbye. Justin dropped her off at her house and sped away. She ran inside and instantly dialed Bailey's number. She had so much to tell her and she had to ask her about the concert still.
