No Fear Wedding Gift Coincidences

Back To Abra Moore Than Lives Up To Her Name

Part of my wedding gift package to my cousin was No Fear--which he'd not heard or been told about. At the wedding, I noticed on the final page of the wedding program was printed his poem to his bride--the final stanza of which is:

You make me feel on top of the world
Higher than I can see
Together we will leave on a journey
Just you and me

I immediately recalled Big Sky lyrics* (from No Fear CD) "just you and me and the big sky" and thought what a wonderful coincidence. That wasn't the end of it though. At the reception I learned they were to honeymoon in "Big Sky Country"--Montana. So Big Sky continues where his poem ends. I mentioned this coincidence of lyrics/honeymoon location to them and, "in light of it all," bet this song will become the most memorable of their new life together.

*Big Sky lyrics

You say you're tired of this circus life.
Tired of the freaks and the colored lights.
Come on come on the night is young.
It's too late to change your mind, you can't turn back now.
So high, so high just you and me and the big sky.
Close the door and shut off the lights.
6 o'clock we'll be taking flight.
Hold on Hold on and then relax.
Tell everyone we're gone and we won't come back.
So high just you and me and the big sky.
That's all we are, that's all we are. It's all forever.
So you're tired of this crazy crazy life.
And no one can save you.
How long how long can this go on?
You only get one chance and then you're gone.
It's all right, it's all right.
That's all we are, that's all we are. It's all forever.
