TULLIBODY HEALTHY LIVING INITIA

WHAT IS IT

The healthy living initiative is a programme of projects designed to promote good health. The initiative has been set up in Tullibody by a broad partnership of organisations.

WHAT WILL IT DO

A wide range of projects will be taken forward within the initiative. These will include:

  • Health promotions, healthy eating, complementary  therapies, arts, sports, recreational and leisure activities.

  • Support fpr children and their families and for young people (drop-in, detached youth work, parenting)

  • Training and support for employment, credit union.

  • Provision of advice and information on a wide range of issues ( e.g. debt/money advice, relationships, physical and mental health)

  • Intergenerational activities, community support for individuals and groups in need (e.g. elderly, families affected by substance misuse,

The project is in the later stages of completion, when operational the initiative will have it's own web site which will contain all the information relevant to it's activities. When the web site is up and running, a link to the site will be placed in the links page of the community site.
