Dear Sir,

Please allow me to express my appreciation for the efforts of all involved in arranging my sponsorship package last week, especially Jackie Henson. While Harold Winberg had approved my application rather some time ago, there was some difficulty in arranging the particular plugs requested, plus some problems in maintaining contact between the two of us – we were constantly playing telephone tag! This left me facing an approaching race weekend with no new sparkplugs, and a growing case of anxiety.

As a result of several frantic telephone calls early last week between Harold, Jackie, and myself, she was able to push the paperwork through in time for me to pick up the plugs at your main office, Thursday afternoon, on my way to the racetrack. It was extremely fortunate for me that she did so, as my last plug, left over from last year, failed during Saturday practice. Thanks to Jackie, I was able to simply replace the plug and carry on. Without her hard work, my weekend would have ended a lot sooner, and would have been a lot less fun.
