THE MULE CUP CHAMPION OTTAWA SENATORS

GM Josh Hockin - "A great season to say the least! Going into the playoffs on somewhat of a cold streak (unvictorious in 9 of our last 10 games), we really fired it up even though we began the playoffs without our star centres Joe Sakic and Mario Lemieux. Beating teams like Montreal, New Jersey, Toronto AND Colorado is no small feat and we are proud of the exemplory teamwork throughout the team. It can be said, however, that we can't expect the same results next season. Making moves early on in the season to deal away youth for superstars and experience, our team is left with little to no future unless changes are made. Our team's strategy is in the process of being retooled so look for some changes this season. This team's only 1 minute into our 15 minutes of fame and we're going to enjoy what is left! Great season, guys!!"
Coach Jacques Martin - "Each player on this team put out an excellent effort, which was key for this team due to all of the injuries along the way."
Joe Sakic- "Man, after I scored that hat trick, some crazy fan guy dressed as a Senators player came and started talking crazy talk about how he should have played alongside me. He had a jersey that said KING, so that must have been his name or something. Anyway, I got security on his ass and I went back to the dressing room to celebrate my ass off."
Mario Lemieux - "Well, Bowser (Patrick Roy) has been defeated. With the help of my brother Luigi (Joe Sakic) and Toad (Daniel Alfredsson), we have saved the Princess (Carol Alt) and the castle safe. I'll be spending my summer at the Royal Castle, but I can be reached via warp pipe any time. "
Zigmund Pallfy - "This is an open invitation to Travis Green to come to my hotel room for some 'celebrations ;).'"
Rob Blake - "M-ule...Cup? Man, my head hurts...."
Patrick Lalime - "Wow, playing in every game for a whole season sure can tire you out! But it was worth it. I mean, if we played that Chouinard character, we wouldn't have done any better than Pittsburgh."
Shawn McEachern - "Man, that Schastlivy guy is wierd. I mean, he kept trying to suck his own balls off during the games so I told him to suck a male camel's dick instead and he loved the idea. It does wonders for the mind and body."
Petr Schastlivy - "God bless thee, minors. At the beginning of the season, I sucked my balls off."
Daniel Alfredsson - "Man I was first line, then I raped a goat so they traded for Palffy. I mean, they gave away such good youth just to make me stop raping goats. Aw C'mon!"
Jason York - "Hey you, White House..Ha Haaa, Charade you are!"
Karel Rachunek - "That Carol Alt gives a bad name to Karel."
Zdeno Chara - "I think I will be going to the Disney Land, yes?"
Magnus Arvedson - "Some people call me Tom Selleck, aka Magnus PI."
Sami Salo - "Drop it already, I'm not related to Tommy..I'm from Finland. GET IT THROUGH YOUR HEADS!"
Mike Fisher - was speachless after Salo's spaz.
Chris Phillips - " I just can't help thinking, that it could have been me in that room instead of Rob. I mean, if only we hadn't switched rooms only minutes before....It's too hard to think about.."
Rob Zamuner - "Man, this brings me back to the time I played on Canada's Olympic team. Dude, people actually thought I was good!"
Bill Muckalt - "I wish more people on this team could speak proper english."
Curtis Leschyshyn - "Yea you guys, seriously, that IS how you spell my name!"
Mike Sillinger - "I feel bad for dropping the Stanley Cup when Mike Fisher handed it to me. If only I weren't so damn weak."
Andre Roy - "Do you wanna live to see your next birthday? Just kidding, you're a good guy."
Ricard Persson - " Gee, thanks fer noticin' me."
Todd White - "Please, call me Whitey."
Eric Lacroix - "Je can too parle anglais.."
Derek King - "I would like to thank the Ottawa Senators for giving me a chance to keep Mario Lemieux's spot on the bench warm while he was out playing. One of my best memories this year was my conversation with Joe Sakic after he scored a hat trick in the playoffs. He pretended he didn't know who I was and called security to take me away. He's such a practical joker."
Matthieu Chouinard - "Though I didn't play a whole lot this season, I feel deeply affected by Rob Blake's tragedy."

Team Quotes

2. Richard Eisenbraun (New Jersey Devils) - "Hopefully I'll make it past the 2nd round this time."
3. Jason Feebs (Philedelphia Flyers) - "Phil, I'll get my revenge, you motherfucker."
4. Scott Usher (Colorado Avalanche) - "'Twas a Disappointing end to the season for the Avs, but we'll bounce back, and with Roy's new found Leadership and Experiance we should be back next year. Great Season, minus the Slut factor, and Smitty you gotta a get some help for those STD's you picked up man, thats dangerous shit."
5. Allan Klompas (St.Louis Blues) - "I blame it all on that damn Jamal Mayers, F'in MORON!"
6. Phil Matchett (Toronto Maple Leafs) - " Congrats to Josh and the whole league for a awesome first season..and fuck you feebs..Dirty Cocksucker... And same goes to you Cujo.. I'm just glad the best team did win it in the end.."
7. Doug Larre (Dallas Stars) - "As long as that slut stays away from my team, I will become the champ. If not I will KILL. Kill Duane that is for bringing her in this league."
8. Tom Rehm (Montreal Canadiens) - "The Habs consider this season as a step forward in re-building the former glory of this franchise. We are especially pleased with the development of players like Wallin, Descoteaux & Hossa. Looking forward to season 2 to get a bit deeper into the playoffs this time."
9. Galen Murray (Detroit Red Wings) - "The 1st Mule season saw veteran Wings Yzerman, Lidstrom, Shannahan and Fedorov all leave town. In came the new breed of Wings led by Jeff O'Neill, Scott Gomez, Jay McKee and Radek Dvorak. We feel this was the first successful season in the Mule leage and to keep the tradtion of winning in Motown alive for along time to come."
10. Dustin Price (Calgary Flames) - "Even though Calgary lost out in the first round, we had a awesome season and hope to improve for next season. And hopefully my star rookie Oleg Saprykin wins the Calder he deserves it."
11. Jason Price (Columbus Blue Jackets) - "I had a good season and look forward to a better one this time around! Good luck everyone. Hopefully my star rookie Vyborny wins the calder he really deserves it!"
12. Brandyn Errickson (Washington Capitals) - "Going into the season as the #1 PreSeason team obvisoully was too much for the Caps as they finished 6th in the East and got ousted in the 1st Rd. We are hoping to rebound this year, maybe make some moves and get back to the top. Good Luck to everyone and great job to the Sens."
13. Ted Dallaire (Florida Panthers) - ""We made a few small deals last season. Made one real big one that probably propelled this team into the playoffs in the first place. That was the Pavol Deal that brought in guys like Mike York, Warrener, and Audette, and grinder Rasmussen. That, and keeping Candace Cameron(Bure) around kinda helped bring in the likes of Sarah Michelle Gellar and Shannon Elizibeth to 'motivat' us. Carol Alt never had the chance to get into this arena, especially after the state made sure there was a ban on anything Caol Alt."
14. Scott Cairns (Edmonton Oilers) - "Keep your legs closed."
15. Niko Bruno (Anaheim Mighty Ducks) - "I just joined the league, and I hope to improve my team."
16. Rami Chehabi (New York Rangers) - "I hope to win a cup for Kim next season"
17. John Paras (Phoenix Coyotes) - "Big things were expected from my team last season and they failled terribly, Our goal this season it a top 4 spot in the West and atleast 2 playoff rounds anything will be a faillure."
18. Russ Houghson (Los Angels Kings) - "Well, obviously this was a rebuilding season, and I'm not actually Russ Houghson, you sick fucks."
19. Peter Fleck (Vancouver Canucks) - "Well, another try next season."
20. Duane Larre (Buffalo Sabres) - "The first season didnt see the better team win, but the biggest fag win. The league saw some queers come and go, unfortunatley some still exist. And the most annoying part was the involvement and impact Carol Alt had on this fucken league. My objective this year is to keep my players focuses on the game and not the 80 year old with no tits and hairy legs with a big snapper up in the stands shaking her fat ass. I also want to beat that fucker Feebs and hammer Matchett. As for my STD test, everything is fine, my doberman ended up biting a chunk of her ass out when she entered my room. I also got an extra high securtiy system installed last week. Peace bitched, gotta go pound some pussy."
21. Mike Aimoe (Carolina Hurricanes) - "The Carolina Hurricanes had a very disapointing season last year not making the playoffs. This year anything less then playoffs will not be tolerated. (If possible add this, but he was not in the coaches available list), Paul Maurice has been let go, too many subpar seasons and this year's result made this decision final. The new head coach of the Hurricanes is Jacques Demers whose style and past accolades speak for themself (coach of the year twice in Detroit and a Stanley Cup with Montreal). We feel he is a better fit here over Maurice after the moves made by the former GM. We have signed him for 2yrs at 750 000 in hopes of turning our past misfortunes around."
22. Josh Silver (Chicago Blackhawks) - "Pleasure to take over the Hawks; Looking forward to competing for a long time."
23. Darryl Wiebe (Boston Bruins) - "We were out of the running early on and made moves to solidify our future. I never in my wildest dreams imagined that we were going to improve this much in one season. We will be in the top five in the East in season two"
24. Grant Hartwick (Tampa Bay Lightning) - "This season was not a surprise for me with my outcome. Early in the season I traded away alot of experience to built a solid team for the next few years of young talented players. At the beggining of the season I had a fairly decent team holding the 2nd and 3rd spot in my conference for quite a while. After my three way trade that saw our top goalie Nikolai Khabibulin be sent away for our goalie for next year Maxime Ouellet and a young rising superstar Justin Williams. All of my trading basically happened in the first part of the season because i traded away most of the players I really wanted to, as well the players I were left with couldn't get me much other then the ones that I was building off of. Tampa Bay record for next season should be improved, but still chances are not the brightest to make the playoffs. Because of the bad outcome in the standings I'll have a high draft pick. I also have Torontos first rounder, but they finished 3rd in there division but should still be a good pick. I knew my team wouldn't do a whole lot basically why my lines weren't sent in hardly at all after I dropped. But the future is bright."
25. Aaron Klett (San Jose Sharks) - "With some shrewd moves, I was able to take the Sharks completely out of playoff contention by the half way mark, and this year, will turn things around and make the semi finals..."
26. Mark Porcina (New York Islanders) - "I am looking forward to the upcoming season. The New York Islanders look to improve on season one and are going be making some major moves to try and ignite the team for a run at the playoffs."
27. Joe Sposito (Atlanta Thrashers) - "Congrats to everyone in the Ottawa organization. The Trashers will continue to build our young foundation in the offseason. If not most likely I will gonna whip someone's ass even if its my fault."
28. Trevor Sabo (Nashville Predators) - "Our team sucked last year, So we were out with the old and in with the new."
29. Brian McNaughton (Pittsburgh Penguins) - "Congrats to THE J-MAN for his victory in his first ever FHL season. Although im sure my Pens would have won the entire thing if he didn't sleep with the commish. Richard will do anything for your team if you sleep with him."
30. Watzov (Minnesota Wild) - "I though the first season was OK... I wasn;t as active as I normally am in leagues but I have a young , new team and just kind of sat back and watched to see how it went. This next season should be alot better and I should be more active trying to give Minnesota a good reputation "
