MuleFHL’s Top Youngsters!!

 

These are The MuleFHL News’ top 50 players who are 21 years old or younger.  The top youngster this year is Tampa Bay goaltender, Maxime Ouellet, who will be expected to do great things this season.  Two more Tampa Bay players, Svitov and Richards, exhibit the team’s dominance in this category.  New Jersey’s Mike Komisarek is the top defencemen on the list this year. 

 

  1. Maxime Ouellet(TB) – He is the best goalie and player under 21 on our list.  Enough said.
  2. Alexander Svitov(TB) – He is huge and an all-around great player with a mean streak.
  3. Brad Richards(TB) – He has already proven what he can do and there is a lot more to come from this offensive wizard. 
  4. Marian Gaborik(MIN) – This guy is so fast and is a premium goal scorer.
  5. Scott Hartnell(NSH) – Hartnell is another all-around great player.  He has all the tools.
  6. Tim Connolly(ATL) – Extremely durable LW with a knack for finding the net.
  7. Radim Vrbata(COL) – Very speedy and very disciplined player.
  8. Simon Gagne(EDM) – Fast as hell and can play anything.  Very well-rounded player.
  9. Jonathan Cheechoo(CAR) – Speedy and can put the puck in the net, but his discipline really hurts him sometimes.
  10. Jaroslav Kristek(BUF) – Just a flat out sniper.
  11. Andy Hilbert(COL) – He’s solid right across the board and a great pick-up for the Avs.
  12. Jason Spezza(LA) – Not the fastest player but sees the ice very well.  Has a tremendous shot also.
  13. Greg Watson(NSH) – Fast, durable and can put the puck in the net as well as pass.
  14. Mike Komisarek(NJ) – Huge, strong and defensive defencemen with decent scoring capabilities.
  15. Colin Shields(PHI) – A solid youngster that can play all forward positions as well.
  16. Justin Williams(TB) – Blazing speed and can really dangle.
  17. Vincent Lecavalier(TB) – Not at full potential yet but is still a great player.
  18. Mike Comrie(TOR) – He’s little but a great offensive threat.  Can pass and score.
  19. Jozef Vasicek(CAR) – PK and PP specialist is ready to step it up for the Canes.
  20. Taylor Pyatt(BUF) – Another big strong power forward that can chip in on a regular basis.
  21. Dan Cavanagh(MIN) – Unbelievably strong sniper that is tough on the puck.
  22. Brendan Bell(NYI) – Well disciplined, smooth skating defencemen.
  23. Marc Popovic(NJ) – A young and ideal power-play quarterback.
  24. Ilya Kovalchuk(BUF) – Maybe the purest natural goal-scorer in a long time. 
  25. Mikko Koivu(MIN) – Real crafty with the puck and can put the numbers on the board too.
  26. Carlo Coliacovo(CHI) – An excellent well-rounded defencemen.
  27. Brian Sutherby(NSH) – Great defensive center that can score also.
  28. Pavel Brendl(NSH) – Robbed of the Calder last year.  Speed, puck control and goals are his specialties. 
  29. Adrian Foster(NJ) – When healthy can be an offensive weapon.
  30. Milan Bartovic(ATL) – Smooth skater with tons of leadership and strength.
  31. Ron Hainsey(LA) – A great rushing defencemen that is good in his own zone too.
  32. Jiri Fischer(MTL) – Huge, strong, and awesome defensively.
  33. Bryan Allen(NYI) – Another excellent d-man from the isles.
  34. Jason Beckett(OTT) – Rugged d-man that can also lead a rush.
  35. Dany Heatley(BUF) – Not the speediest, but can play the best and make them both look good.
  36. Mike Fisher(OTT) – He is the ultimate playmaker and is very quick.
  37. Dan Blackburn(CHI) – Will be the best goalie after Luongo’s tenure is done.
  38. Jay McClement(LA) – Big forward that can check and score.
  39. Rick DiPietro(NYI) – He’s their starter this year, so look out!
  40. Steve McCarthy(CHI) – Leadership and very offensively gifted.
  41. Krys Kolanos(PHO) – Calder winner is fast and can score very well.
  42. Alexsander Suglobov(TOR) – Speedy skater that can either dish it off or rip it home.
  43. Yannik Lehoux(LA) – Offensive wizard with tons of speed.
  44. Ossi Vaananen(PHO) –  Very strong defensive d-man.
  45. Barret Jackman(LA) – Tough as nails and solid as a rock defensively.
  46. Branislav Mezei(NYI) – Huge offensive rearguard that can mix it up as well.
  47. Patrick Stefan(ATL) – Great set-up man and very durable.
  48. Jeff Taffe(TOR) – Decent Speed but stellar passer.

49&50.  Sedin Twins (VAN) – Daniel can score and Henrik can pass.  They both know where each other is, so why not?
