Small faerys

Intro: Small faerys are by far the most popular image of fey people. They are also known as wee folk, little people, and green men.

size: Faerys are 6-12 inches. They can change size at will.

Appearance: All faerys of this category have beautiful butterfly wings (Although they do not need wings because they have the power of levitation) and are very gorgeous. Some faerys are seen naked while others wear rich and beautiful clothes (usally queens and kings).

Trooping/ Nontrooping: All feaerys are in one of these two catagories. The trooping live in courts and have kings and queens while nontrooping live alone. The queen of her troop is more powerful than the king and rules suppremly amonge her court. The highest quuen and king are Titania and Oberon.

Home: Trooping faerys live underground and in hollow hills.

likes/ pastimes: Because they are to impatient to grow food faerys are constantly storing and hunting food to keep theit large community alive. Faerys can be both helpful and mischiviouse to humans, depending on their mood. Faerys love human romance and often intervean in love affairs, and they will do anything to keep togather a couple that they think is a good match, and do everything to keep apart a couple that they think is a bad match. some times faerys will "borrow" human things to share with their troop, but when they return the object they often put it in the wrong spot. However the meanist thing that faerys evert do is swich a human baby with a faery baby, called a changling.

Temperment: Because faerys themselves are so graceful it is often hard for them to understand why we are so clumsy, so faerys do not understand when humans do not know faery ways. Therefor if you see a feary, and they are trying to hide their identity, never mention it because this will make the faery very mad and they might put a curse on you in revenge. No faerys are good or bad just differant from us in many ways.
