I've lived in Saugerties Village, New York, since April 2003. Between the grandeur of the Catskill Mountains and the tranquil beauty of the Hudson River, it’s easy to imagine this region as home to Washington Irving's legendary Rip Van Winkle.

The Mid-Hudson Valley provides a dynamic environment for creative people. Kingston’s "Uptown" district is home to numerous art galleries and performance centers. New Paltz, with its state university and wealth of colonial antiquities, is another must-see destination...and then there's that little village whose name has become an anthem for the entire world: WOODSTOCK.
