Why they started the hockey league? Here is the response from one of the organizers."Well I used to play hockey in the back of my house when I was a kid. Ever since I was about 6 years old I loved the game. I started to play ice hockey for Verdun when I was about 7. When I was around 14 years old I switched from playing defense to being a goalie, well street hockey at least, playing ice was too expensive. So all my high-school life I played hockey out-doors as a goalie. But what got me going was that I wanted to play in a real league, with real statistics and point listings. I wanted the real league, but with my friends. So it began. I spoke with my best friend, Mr. McDermott and we began designing rules, and regulations, teams and every detail we could think of. We went to city hall and asked to rent a gym, because I despise playing outside, because it's not a court. Inside just feels like you are something, under the lights, the people all around you. After a few weeks of collecting money from all my friends, we finally had enough. And it began!" That was Brody Udall one of the organizers. The league organizer is Brody Udall, the league president is Matthew McDermott.
