Please send an email to Mayor Gerald Tremblay maire@ville.montreal.qc.ca and encourage him to invite the participants of Le Tour de l'Ile de Montreal and Le Festival de la Sante to raise funds for the hospitals and charities of the participants' choice!
The 43,000 participants of the London Marathon are invited to raise funds for hospitals/charities. 76% of them raised a total of $74,000,000 in 2002!
Le Tour de l’Ile de Montreal has said no to 150-225 charities! Laval, DDO,Roxboro, Cote St. Luc, Hampstead, Montreal West and NDG will not allow Le Tour to pass upon their streets unless the event cooperates with charity.
