September 11, 2001 Remembering America

My heart grows heavy within my chest
remembering the people who'll be laid to rest.
Crumbling buildings with twisted steel
all of the pictures seem surreal.

May God have mercy on us all
for what has happened and we recall.
This action has no explanation
and now we all want retaliation.

Cowards, terrorist what ever they are
have left on us a permanet scare.
Now to rid this planet of this scum
we must press forward and not succumb.p

God Bless America is our cry
as many more will most likely die.
To make this earth safe for all
America will always answer the call.

The fire fighters, and construction men
are ready to help and go back again.
Trying to find even just one more soul
that they can save and console.

Many of us just stand by
and watch TV and start to cry.
The stories we hear are so sad
the more we see is making us mad.

The memories of the lives we lost
will help us get even at any cost.
Our countries spirit is on a high
and patriotism is in great supply.

New York and Washington D.C.
will always live inside of me.
All the anguish and the pain
makes this seem so insane.

United we stand, for all mankind
all our efforts will be combined.
To make our world a better place
for everyone of every race.
