Out of the murky waters the mermaids came
Two of them, their hair billowing about them
their tails hammering the water

She writhed erotically through the water
swam in lazy circles, her tail trailing behind her
Her face looked angelic, remarkably beautiful
Within her perfect breasts, her heart beat in synchrony
and on her lips, a smile of wonder

Occasionally she would stretch, langorously
apparently fully aware of him
but not in the least intimidated

Her eyes filled with a wild light that made him pause
He was entranced as this wonder moved closer
awash in harmonics of her unearthly beauty
He could feel the calling temptation.

He was seeing a miracle, a true siren...

"Do you think it's a ruse of some sort, an illusion?"
