This is Poco's Smokey Bandit (SMOKEY)he is a 4 year old & broke to ride. Has had 6 weeks of professional training as a two year old & another 4 weeks as a 3 year old. He has been ridden for 2 years. 2 weeks after he came back from the trainers as a 2 year old I took him on a mountain ride & he did excellent. When he was a colt, I ponied him everywhere I went as his Dam is my riding horse, so he learned to be a trail horse long before he was old enough to ride. He has been to the Cypress Hills as well. This horse will go anywhere you want him to, crossing creeks, mud, logs, etc. I must sell him as I want to downsize to only one horse again.

Poco throws extremely beautiful & intelligent babies that are very easy to train. They all have perfect confirmation, beautiful heads and wonderful dispositions.

Poco Sugar Pine has the most incredible disposition and temperment. He has way above average intelligence and is a dream to handle. We ride him on trail rides, cattle roundups and use him for ponying his colts. He is an excellent cattle horse. He has a wonderful easy going nature, never gets excited, even when a colt or calf is pulling his saddle off to the side or his saddle rolls under his belly.

Poco has been started in reining and doing really well. Poco will now be shown by his new owner both in reining and Western Pleasure. We have only shown him once as a 2 year old. He did very well, placed in a few events. All of his colts are very high quality and show material.(See Poco's babies)

Poco has a very playful nature. He likes to help when we are cleaning his corral. We fill the wheelbarrow and he empties it, but only when we turn our back. If you drop a halter he will pick it up and hand it to you. He likes to get scratched with a rake and will pick up the rake and bring it over to you. If you unlatch a gate he will open it for you.
