In today's other Umbro Trophy Semi Final Forest Green Rovers turned over Hereford United 4-1 in their own back yard. The tie was balanced at 2-2 before today's second leg and Hereford where favorites to make it through but just like in our tie the underdogs made it through. Frank Bennett and Alex Meechan put Forest Green 2 up in the first half hour before Hereford grabbed themselves a lifeline through a Ian Wright goal. Rushden and Diamonds emphatically beat Morecambe 4-1 at Nene Park. A Duane Darby hat trick and a Jon Brady strike secured three points for Rushden.
