Want To Start A Business For Under $5000.
How about order taking. $5000 would be a great amount to start advertising. You place adds in newspapers and take phone orders from home at your kitchen table or home office. It would be like a answering service but you make a commission for every order you get or appointment you set. A good example would be taking calls for a roofing company. You place the add, take the call and set appointments with a pre arranged contractor and get a percentage if the roofer gets the job. Most roofs take one or two days so you would not have to wait that long to get your commission. Some alarm companies also pay you to get them customers. You may only get a few calls a week so find five companies or more and place lots of adds in newspapers and maybe hand out fliers. Some newspaper adds are cheap and if your afraid of losing your $5000, start out small with a few hundred dollars untill your confident that you will get your money back and still make a profit. A lot of people start businesses that they know absolutly nothing about but the idea is if you dont know anything about the business hire someone that can fill in your weak spots. Is Stuffing Envelopes A Scam Business
You've seen the ads for years - Stuff Envelopes $5 each , become a overnight millionair. Here's the goods. Basicaly its the easiest mail order business to start. You simply place advertising in magazines and newspapers ( stuff envelopes - $5 to $10 a peice for each envelope stuffed or mailed. Send $10 and a self address envelope to Blaw blaw blaw. THIS IS WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE. A letter about the same as above. You simlpy copy the letter and mail it out and collect $10 bucks. Usally your asked to split the profit with the one you got the letter from. Is it legal? As long as both parties are happy but for just a few dollars you have a business. Most likly you would have to spend $100 dollars in advertising to make $10 or $15 if your lucky. A $1000 ad might bring you your $1000 back plus make $150. These small ads are not always cheap. About $1500 hundred for a one inch add in a popular magazine. If you see the same ad in your favorite magazine buy the same company all year it is most likly they are making money. Some marketing companies spend $100,000 on these low tech ads and businesses a week earning their money back and $15,000 . A 5% return is still good. A 50% return is not unheard of. Some grocery stores only get a 2% return. Scam? If you can start this business why not just find a wholesaler and sell the consumer a real product? A lot of mail order business start out this way.
