A NOTE FROM MICHAEL (UPDATED 12/26/06 9:33PM C.S.T.)
Hello world. Wow. We are about to roll into 2007. That sounds like a book from when I was a kid. Life is grand. There is no snow in Chicago which is somewhat amazing. I had a cold over the last couple of days and have been sleeping strange hours. I went to sleep around 3 hours ago so I can catch up to a normal schedule. What is a normal schedule anyhow? What is, “Normal”? Now you got me going.
A major event in the history of this website is that I am jumping into this digital world. People like their iPods. I told myself I would never get one and that they are in everyone’s pocket and I will not fall into the Apple trap. Whatever the case, I did fall into the trap. I got one. I really love the damn thing. Over 7 thousand songs are jam packed in one pack of cigarettes. As Borat would say,…. “Nice!” I see Tower Records is closing. More and more people are ditching their CD’s for mp3’s. I will still continue to sell a select number of my 30 or more CD’s in my Store, but I am also moving to selling mp3’s for 99 cents. You can click on the, “Music” link on the site to hear the songs and download any song you choose for a small fee. It is fun watching my site slowly move with the times. I have had this site for over 10 years and it has been all over the place in its making.
I have been upgrading a lot of studio gear which is tied into the Live Webcam and Live Radio station. The upgrades with new equipment coming in have had my Live TV station down for a bit. I have some new ideas up my sleeve. I am considering a live radio show once a week. This show will be performed live on the radio station and webcam to the world. I am also thinking of having the audio taped and on the website for people to hear that missed the live show. I have always loved music and wanted to do a show. I can also throughout this amazing show, showcase some of my new talent and songwriting ideas. This is all not set in stone. If you think you would like to hear this, email me. If you think it’s a horrible idea, email me as well. I used to have the webcam on 24/7 along with the radio station. I am really not in the mood for a camera on me 24/7 right now. I have had the cam on for the last 8 years like 24/7. That is like 70,080 hours straight. Chew on that.
Everything else is cool. Thank you for everyone that has been shopping in my online Store. I had never imagined that my, “Party Like a Rockstar” clothing line would blow up. The sales have been pouring in. Rock on and thank you. I am writing music and recording new ideas. An album is always in the works. There is not a title nor a release date at this time. Since I own Michael Laechel Enterprises, I do what I want and when. Pretty cool. Well that is enough for the moment. Time to catch some more ZZZzzzz’s.

Michael entered a contest by "Winterfresh Gum", February of 2003. He created a video/audio commercial. Thousands of submissions were entered, and Michael's was one of the best. The judges were "Winterfresh" gum's advertising executives from "BBDO Advertising Co." in Chicago.
At the moment, his "WF OutTakes" in audio form are available on this website.
Michael has just recorded several audio/vocal spots for "Winterfresh Gum". This is a new advertising campaign they are airing nation wide on T.V., Radio and their web site. WOW man!!! Andrew W.K. man,... you take the word party to new heights!!! The beer was flow'en and the music was ROCKEN!!! You had the crowd head bang'en and jump'en all over. You took everyone away from the reality of life itself and gave 150%. For that I thank you on behalf of Milwaukee, WI. I am a singer songwriter in Milwaukee, and music means more than anything to me. Your showman ship is everything I want to achieve someday. You keep my dreams alive. I was more than thrilled when you let some of us up on stage to rock out with you. Then you let me play the keyboard with you!!! That I could not believe. I have been telling EVERYONE. I'm such a name dropper!! Man I left that show so stoked!!! Me and my buddy came home and contiuned the party untill the wee hours of the morning. I just wanna say that you guys were WAY tight that night and did not let the crowd down at all. The Rave is one hell of a venue with like 4 stages and I have seen like 50 shows there. Your show will forever be engraved in my soul. Thank you forever for the once in a life time rock experience.
