Hi my name is Anne Glasgow and I run a very small hobby of showing and breeding Golden
Retrievers. I purchased my first Golden in 1983 and entered my female in a show. She won Best
of Opposite Sex at her very first show and then I was hooked on showing. My foundation bitch
was Champion & Obedience Trial Champion Elbeagolden’s Alberta Rose, Outstanding Dam
and Working Certificate. Rosie was a wonderful and very smart Golden. She produced several
champion and obedience champion pups. Rosie lived to the age of 13. I then purchased my next
foundation bitch, Champion Brookshire’s Aurora Gold, who is in my opinion, drop dead
gorgeous and smart. She did great in the shows and she is an outstanding dam. Tika is her name,
and she produced the #1 Golden Retriever in 1999, Multi Best in Show, Best in Specialty Show
Goldenmoment’s 007's Bond, who was also among the Top 10 all breed dogs in Canada that year.
Bond, is my top show dog and he is at stud to approved bitches.
My husband and I live in Calgary so I can only have three dogs. I breed Goldens occasionally,
usually once a year. My aim is to breed for quality, which includes good health, intelligence,
temperament and looks. My dogs are all house dogs and they are treated as members of our
family.
