The ceremony was held at the Northeast Christian Church of Kissimmee. We chose to have the wedding in Kissimmee hoping that out of town guests would be able to make a family vacation out of their trip down. Kissimmee is located just 15 minutes away from all of the major Orlando theme parks, and the hotels here are cheaper than those in the Orlando area. Please visit our links page to view theme park websites.

Green Square= Kash-n-Karry, this is where you turn to go to the church.

C= Northeastern Christian Church

H= Holiday Inn, reception site

S= Sheraton

A= Our apartment.

We reserved a block of rooms, at a discounted price, at the Holiday Inn and Sheraton. The Holiday Inn was where the reception took place. We had a limo available to shuttle people from the Sheraton to the reception so that nobody had to drink and drive. Click on the logo to go to the hotel's web site.

The Ceremony went as follows:
Friends and family, we have been invited here today to share with Brenda and Andrew a most important moment in their lives. In the time they have been together their love and understanding for each other has grown and matured, and now they have decided to live their lives together as husband and wife.
Who is giving this woman to be married to this man? Her mother and I.
Prayer
Today we will celebrate one of life’s greatest relationships, the union between a man and a woman which we call marriage. Marriage is a commitment to life, the best that two people can find and bring out in each other. It offers opportunities for sharing and growth that no other relationship can equal. It is a physical and an emotional joining that is promised for a lifetime. Within the circle of it’s love marriage encompasses all of life’s most important relationships. A husband and a wife are each others best friends, confidant, lover, teacher, listener, critic and there may come times when one partner is heartbroken and ailing and the love of the other may resemble the tender caring of a parents for a child. Marriage deepens and enriches every facet of live. Happiness is fuller, memories are fresher, commitment is stronger, even anger is felt more strongly and passes away more quickly. Marriage understands and forgives the mistakes life is unable to avoid. It encourages and nurtures new life, new experience, new ways of expressing a love that is deeper than life itself. When two people pledge their lives and care for each other in marriage they create a spirit unique unto themselves, which binds them closer than any spoken or any written words. Marriage is a promise, a potential made in the hearts of two people who love each other and it takes a lifetime to fulfill
In light of this, Andrew, do you take Brenda to be your wife? To love her, to be honest with her always, to stand by her through whatever may come, to make whatever adjustments are necessary so that you can genuinely share your life with her? Andrew do you make this commitment? I do.
Brenda, in light of all that marriage is, do you take Andrew to be your husband? To love him and be honest with him always, to stand by him whatever may come, to make whatever adjustments are necessary so that you can genuinely share your life with him? Brenda, do you make this commitment? I do.
Then turn and face each other and make this vow to one another. I Andrew, take you Brenda, to be my wife. I promise to care for you and respect you, to forgive you and be forgiven by you. I will love honor and cherish you in sickness and in health, in poverty and in wealth, through the bad that may darken our days and the good that may light our way and to be true to you in all things from this day forward.
I Brenda, take you Andrew, to be my husband. I promise to care for you and respect you, to forgive you and be forgiven by you. I will love honor and cherish you in sickness and in health, in poverty and in wealth, through the bad that may darken our days and the good that may light our way and be true to you in all things from this day forward.
Andrew, do you have some token of your love to give to Brenda? I have this ring. And Brenda, do you have some token of your love to give to Andrew? I have this ring.
Blessing of the rings.
Take her ring and as you put it on her finger please repeat after me. I give you this ring in token and pledge of our constant faith and abiding love. (Laugh as he forces it on.) Brenda: I give you this ring in token and pledge of our constant faith and abiding love.
Prayer
People light candles for many reasons and some of the best reasons that people light candles are for life, love, honor and hope and promise and today is all about life and love and honor and hope and promise. And Andrew and Brenda’s candle of their new life is already burning and they are going to symbolize their light and their fire by lighting their own candle now.
Just once in every lifetime someone comes along and hearts then blend in harmony with words to loves sweet song. Just once in every life time two hearts fill special rolls, telling them that from the start they are destined kindred soles. Just once in every life time a union is meant to be, when those hearts join and beat as one for all eternity.
By the power vested in me, by the state of Florida and by the church of Jesus Christ, I now pronounce you husband and wife and whom God has joined together let no man nor woman ever put asunder. And may the lord bless you and keep you and may the lord lift up the light of his countenance upon you and give you peace both now and forever more, amen. Andrew I think this would be a good time for you to kiss your bride.
It gives me great joy and honor to introduce to you for the first time, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Sullivan.
