I am an only child, and the first girl on my father's side of the family in 18 years. Yes, I would say that I am spoiled, however, I would not go as far as to say that I am a spoiled brat. My parents did a wonderful job in raising me, and taught me how to share and care for others.
I am very caring and giving, making others happy is what pleases me the most. I am always looking for little ways to let family and friends know how much I care.
The old cliche "opposites attract" is certainly true in this case. I am very shy and quiet, although once I get to know someone and feel comfortable around them, and they take the time to get to know me, it is hard to get me to shut up! I plan things out and follow daily routines. I am meticulous with detail, and am always at least five minutes early for things. Those of you who know Andrew know that he is the complete opposite! Really outgoing, certainly not shy, and very spontaneous. It all works out, though. I keep him organized and on time, and he helps me have the courage to talk to others and do things I wouldn't normally do.
I am a recent graduate from The Florida State University where I received my Bachelors degree in Child Development. My internship at Downtown Babies in Tallahassee led me to my current job as the Assistant Director/Lead Toddler Teacher of Osceola County's new Child Development Center! This center is an on-site child care facility provided for the children of parents who are employees of Osceola County. Osceola is the first county in the state of Florida to do something like this, and I am excited to be a part of it. This center is my pride and joy and anyone who has contact with me is sure to hear all about it!!
