Chrono Trigger is a really good RPG, and it's also fairly unique. It has a set of interesting and entertaining characters, an excellent battle system (a hybrid of SOM and Final Fantasy) and a wonderfully engaging storyline. Several different endings give this game great replay value. The music is really, really good, and so is the rearranged mix, although I'll warn you it's a bit...unorthodox. The album is called The Brink of Time. It's worth investigating. But anyway, there's a sequel to this game coming out soon (August 2000) called Chrono Cross, and I've heard good things. If it's anything like its predecessor, it should be a big hit.
