Final Fantasy II (IV in Japan) is a classic Final Fantasy. There are crystals, space travel, good fighting evil, a really awesome end boss, and the classic prelude (which Squaresoft has recently scrapped with the release of FF8...arg). FFIV has a really good soundtrack, and the rearrangement (Celtic Moon) is awesome too. The battle system is, again, classic. I can't say too much for graphics, except that this game was for SNES, and by the standards of the era it was released in, the graphics were pretty good. Nevertheless, they don't take away from the gameplay. The plot is fairly involved, and once again it follows the classic outline of other early Final Fantasy releases. Although it's not really anything profound, this is just a really fun game to play.
