HowTo make just about any old Mac into an aquarium.  "Dr. Webster's Guide to the MacQuarium" Now this guy has a great sense of humor. If you have more than one old Mac laying around (and assuming its of no use to someone else) you can also make a Mac Table, or a Mac Planter.

HowTo Make Use of Your Beer Coaster Collection

101 Uses For Beer Coasters
submitted by William Woolmer at BeerTimes in Australia

Useful for a moment, we normally discard the cardboard coaster without a thought. Unless you collect 'em.

Let's assume you are not a collector, and have never found anything amazing about the humble coaster. Let BeerTimes educate you!

  1. Postcards. Our Number One use for coasters when on holiday. They are postcard sized, free, specific to the area, amusing, and accepted by most post offices around the world. Plus, it gives you something to do sitting at the pub. Try it!
Address / message / stamp on back, and you're off. Normal stamps as per postcards, we've found.
PS - Post Offices in Italy seem to dislike the round beer coasters, but will happily accept them if square!
  2. Collect 'em up, the use for Christmas cards / present tags. Cheaper, and very distinctive! (who says I don't have the spirit of Christmas?)
  3. Jam a bit of rope through a sturdy favourite and use it as a luggage tag. Now you'll always recognise those bags!
  4. Collect them from the pub over time, them drag them out at parties and use them as ... beer coasters.  (wow!)
  5. Name tag at important business events. Write name on back and pin to shirt.
If someone walks up to you and says something like "Hello, Sparkling Ale. How the hell are you?", then you know you pinned it on the wrong way.
  6. Knit them together and make little hats for parties.
  7. Write your name on the back, keep folded in wallet and hand out as business cards (especially useful if you are a businessperson).
  8. Pooper scoopers. Carry a few in your overcoat pocket for those predictable events when next walking your dog. Note - only Fosters beer coasters adequate for this role...
  9. Lining the cat box. See 8 above for suitable coasters type :-)
  10. Stylish eye patches are easily made from round beer coasters and a little elastic. Great for Pirate parties!

Well, that's where I've stopped. Over to you for the next few. All suggestions accepted (well, maybe not the rude ones).
