Welcome to my scuba page. Scuba diving is something I have dreamed about since my cousin put me in a pool fifteen years ago with a BC and let me ‘play’. Well today the dream has finally come true. This past Spring 00, I was certified through Emerald Seas Dive Shop. What a great experience Gary Dean made for us on our open water trip to Florida. (Thanks Gary!)

As you have read in my profile I live in Cullman Alabama. Cullman is located about 45 miles north of Birmingham. And about 40 mile south of Huntsville. Most diving spots around this area are limited to quarry diving. Some of the good places I have dove at include Blue water in Pelham, Rock divers in Madison, Dive land quarry in Glenco and of course good ole Smith lake.

Having read other ppl’s dive pages I have noticed they included there rig setup. So I may as well include mine. Well since the good Lord gifted me with such great measurements, I had to move up into the technical gear and have a few things “custom” fitted. So here they are: I use a Oceanic Probe BC. Very comfortable for us “larger” divers. Scuba Pro regs that consist of a MK 20 first stage, with a Scuba pro G250 primary and a Scuba Pro R190 for my Octo. I had to mix and match my console a lil to fit my wallet so I decided to use a Sherwood three gage console with a Awac-1 Nitrox programmable computer. I dive with a 6.5 mill Advance full piece wet suit (no more extra spending money for a while!) and that’s about it. It’s hard for ppl. like myself to find everything in a one stop shop store so I had to mix in match a few things, but over all I’m am satisfied with my rig.

With less than 50 dives under me I can’t really tell you about all my diving experience other than to say it has been a great experience so far. I have some great dive buddies that are just as crazy about the water as I. So as time goes by and the experience grows I hope to include some photos of our dive trips. And a few stories about them.
