Wave 12 began with Halloween 2007. At work we had planned for months on our theme for Halloween. I decided to go as Perrywinkle, the evil clown. Based loosely on Pennywise, the clown from Stephen King's "It", I made myself up as a scary clown, complete with sharp fangs.
We had a good turn out at our annual Trick-or-Treat and people enjoyed our Carnival of Lost Souls theme.
In the summer of 2008 we started something new at work. We dedicated one Friday a month to dress up days. Our first theme for July was Western Day, our second theme for August was Hawaiian Day. Our third dress up day in September of 2008 was 70s Day. I made up a brand new character for this occasion. I named him J.T., Jive Turkey, the Disco Gigolo. We had a great time with 70s day and took some funny pictures. 
Our theme for Halloween 2008 was Grim Fairy Tales. I wanted to look as freaky as possible, so I created a character based on Celtic legend, Finvarra the Elven King. My version of Finvarra had half a head of hair, fangs and long, sharp claws.
Our annual Trick-or-Treat went over well and we had a lot of families show up with their children. Everybody said we outdid ourselves this year.
Our dress up days continued after Halloween 2008 with 80s Day in November. The new year started off with Sports Day in January 2009. I portrayed a new character, Tommy Dove, pro skateboarding champion.
In October 2009 we had our 5th annual Trick-or-Treat extravaganza at work. We decorated our department in an Old West Ghosttown theme. I came as the outlaw Black Bart.
