My family has been involved with Compassion International since 1994, when we began to sponsor our first child, Maria Chambi. Unfortunately, Maria's family moved away from the Compassion sponsorship area and we lost contact with her. I wish Maria the best. In 1999 we began sponsoring a little boy from India, Arun Francis. It has been a blessing to our family to hear from these kids and to know that their needs are being met.

One of the great things about Compassion is, that through the letters you receive from the children, you know that the money is being put to use and they are receiving the help that they need.
