(~) Chapter 21 (~)
JC and Justin jumped out of the moving truck that they had rented, decked out in their wifebeaters, ready to get Lyndsay moved in. Lyndsay met them out on the porch and let them in. Everything was already in boxes and was set in the living room ready to be moved.
"Dang Lyndsay, thanks for making our job easier." Justin laughed. "You must have been up all night."
"Actually, I was." Lyndsay stated with a tired smile, as she moved one final box into the living room.
"Melissa is on her way over in her car, that way you can put all your clothes and stuff in there, and you guys can go back to the house." JC said.
Melissa walked up behind JC and tugged at his wifebeater and laughed, "And miss THIS view?? Why don't ya'll walk around in wifebeaters at the house??"
"In fear of being attacked that's why." JC said with a smirk, as Melissa playfully smacked him on the arm, "Funny, VERY funny."
"Okay girl, let's get your clothes and everything put into my car and leave these two manly men to do their job." Melissa said as she walked into the house.
Justin puffed out his chest and flexed his muscles. Melissa raised an eyebrow at him, "Now THAT is funny." she laughed. Justin lunged at her and Melissa darted into the house quickly.
Lyndsay and Melissa walked into her bedroom and started grabbing suitcases. "So, wanna see if the guys wanna do something tonight? You know, like a double date." Melissa laughed as she nudged Lyndsay.
Lyndsay's eyes widened as the words "double date" came out of Melissa's mouth.
"Ooookay, I'll take that as a yes." Melissa smiled, as she drug the first two suitcases out of the bedroom. "Come on you slackers, get to work." she laughed as she saw JC and Justin.
"Yeah yeah yeah, you slave driver." Justin said.
Melissa just rolled her eyes playfully at Justin as she bounded out of the house and put some of Lyndsay's bags in her car. She came back up the steps, as the guys were coming down.
"Hey, I was wondering if you guys wanted to all go out and do something tonight."
"Sounds like a plan to me. What about you Justin?"
"Sounds great." Justin said with a big smile.
"Ah ha! I knew it!!!" Melissa squealed.
"You knew what??" JC asked, confused.
"Oh nothing." Melissa laughed as she ran back into the house.
Melissa ran back into the bedroom where Lyndsay was grabbing the last suitcase, and taking a look around to make sure she wasn't leaving anything behind.
"Girl, come on, we gotta go!!" Melissa said hurriedly.
"What? Why? What's wrong??"
"I just asked the guys about tonight, and Justin seemed rather excited if you ask me." Melissa said with a smirk. "So come on! We gotta get back to the house and get ready so you can knock Justin off his feet." she said, as she turned to run out the door, with Lyndsay close behind her.
The girls ran down the steps and past the guys, "We'll meet you back at the house." Melissa called back as she ran to her car.
The guys stopped what they were doing, and gave the girls funny looks as they ran to the car. Justin looked over at JC and just shook his head and laughed.
The girls rushed home and immediately started getting ready for the big "double date." Neither of them knowing what was about to happen that night.
