The group actually DID stay in touch for a long time afterwards - and still are for that matter. ‘NSync stayed together for another five years, until they finally disbanded to pursue their own interests.
Chris and Megan stayed close for years, and actually opened a psychology practice together after Megan finished school. They never married, but stayed ‘together’ and completely happy.
Justin and Jen had a child about five years later, a boy - Steven Lance...in honor of the man that gave his own child Justin’s name. They married soon after. Justin started a successful solo career with Jen as the stay at home mom while Justin was on the road.
JC and Kristin didn’t marry, but they lived together - instead of having a family, they built a special home where they harbored needy or handicapped children until a foster home could be found for them. It was completely satisfying enough that their ‘family’ was the hundreds of children they helped over their years together.
Joey and Caroline married - Joey reformed his ways and spent every waking moment spoiling his love, Caroline. He had gone into real estate as a side job when he wasn’t spending time with his family. They had a good forty kids or so - at least that’s what it sounded like when anyone ever came over(!) Joey had wanted a traditionally huge Italian family...over a course of fifteen years, Caroline gave birth to six (yes, SIX) children - Joseph Anthony III, David Vincent, Kaylie Anne, Zachary John, Michael Robert, and Maria Rose.
Lance and Amy had, of course married, that day in October. Lance built up Free Lance Entertainment to a huge, booming business. They also went on to have two more children, Andrew John and Jenna Elizabeth, and also three dogs and some goldfish.
Overall, the ten had been through so much together, both as a group, as couples, and as individuals. They taught each other the true meaning of happiness and friendship - that’s a gift only a certain few can give each other. Not only did they have their wonderful (and some NOT so wonderful!) memories to carry them through the years, they also had oodles of time in front of them to create even more as they grew old together, the best of friends.
