JOE'S BEEN SCOOTING AROUND
Joe recently appeared in the new series "Mark Owen's Celebrity Scooters" on BBC Choice. Joe was featured riding a scooter across Belgium with ex-Take That star Mark Owen in three programmes of the series. Highlights included Joe being mobbed by fans in a town square and Joe singing 'Hey Jude' at the top of a bell tower.
SOAP WIN FOR JOE
As I'm sure you all know, Joe won the BEST ACTOR IN A SOAP OPERA 1999/2000 at the British Soap Awards on 27th May 2000. In his acceptance speech, he thanked his mum, dad, nan and girlfriend Rosanna. Notably, he was sitting in the audience next to Leila Birch ('Teresa di Marco' in "EastEnders") and Adam Woodyatt ('Ian Beale' in "EastEnders"). Behind him sat Martin Kemp ('Steve Owen' in "EastEnders"), together with his wife Shirley Kemp. Congratulations Joe!

JOE HITS THE BIG SCREEN
I recently learned that Joe is due to film a feature-length movie in July, and a BBC drama in September, with a well-known actress. One of them is a horror movie!!
JOE MEETS TOM JONES
I was surprised on Saturday 3rd June to tune in to ITV's "An Audience with... Tom Jones", only to see Joe sitting in the celebrity audience!
SILENT WITNESS
I was pleased to catch Joe's appearance in BBC1 drama "Silent Witness" from a few years ago, when it was repeated on UK Gold recently. Well done Joe for a great acting performance in a tough role!
TEEN TALK
Joe also recently appeared as a guest to talk about those terrible teenage years on "Harry Enfield's Real Kevins", a BBC1 documentary.
LAUNCH OF JOE ABSOLOM ONLINE
On Wednesday 29th March 'The World of Joe Absolom' was relaunched as the even better 'Joe Absolom Online'. I changed a few bits around, got rid of some parts and added some new stuff. Hope you like the new look!
WISH I WAS THERE...
Joe made his presenting debut on Monday 27th March on ITV's holiday programme, "Wish You Were Here...". Joe and his brother, Dan, were reporting from the ski slopes of the Italian Alps on their recent holiday together. There's more information at the Wish You Were Here website.
