Cyberspace.
The word conjures vastly differing images for each of us.
When I first came online, I had been warned of the terrors that lurk,
waiting for unsuspecting travellers. Horrible tales of wickedness unimaginable, nasty bugs, and labyrinths of deceipt and despair.
With trembling hands, I would click on "connect" and shudder at the thought of what may appear on my screen unbidden.
But being voraciously curious by nature, abstaining from that click was an option never entertained. I continued cautiously picking my steps.
As time went by, I began to stumble across meadows of emerald green, glistening with the morning dew,and recoiled in absolute terror.
This must be one of those devious places of which I had been warned.
It could not possibly be what it appeared ...an oasis in the midst of cyberspace barrenness.....or could it?
Being feline in temperament, I was compelled to foolhardedly plunge
off the worn, brown path and head into the brilliant sunshine.
Lo and behold, it was exactly as it seemed;
a wonderous place to share with all who were willing
to risk life and limb on the journey !!
I declare that cyberspace ramblings have allowed me experiences otherwise impossible or at the very least unlikely and the opportunity revisit others.
If you are brave of heart,
I have clearly marked the way to some of the havens I encountered.
The way has been cleared of all gryphons, dragons,
and corrupt peddlers trying to unload compromised armour.
Simply point and click
to be transported miles away to places of beauty and culture.
Places of heartwarming kinship demanding nothing and offering quiet shelter from everyday chaos.
Please be my companion and let's be off...dazzling worlds await.
