WE ARE A NONPROFIT EDUCATIONAL NETWORK

We exist to educate martial arts instructors on how to better teach children to defend themselves against possible abduction. We teach what works. We ask for no money so our motives can never be questioned. Enough Said.

The ideas, techniques, and concepts taught are a compilation of martial arts instructors from around the world.  No money will ever be made directly or indirectly from anyone using our name.

Our instructors give FREELY to others their martial arts knowledge in the hopes that it will prevent just one child from the horrors of an abduction.

Some of our instructors have been giving their time FREELY for years to help children and their parents to feel safer.

WHO ARE WE:

We are a program of the "BROTHERHOOD OF MARTIAL ARTISTS" educational network. The B.H.M.A. is an online educational network with members in over 20 countries.  We have an online forum to discuss what works and what doesn't. We also hold instructor training between member schools.  We offer a free once a year Gathering to educate instructors and students. We have many martial arts styles in the B.H.M.A. in which to draw knowledge from. The C in Combat was changed to K to represent Kids.

WHAT WE TEACH:

EYE GOUGES, GROIN ATTACKS, BITING, ELBOWS, KICKING, PUNCHING, SCREAMING, SITUATION AVOIDANCE, CONFRONTATIONAL ATTACKS, HOW TO DEAL WITH VERBAL ATTACKS, AND MORE. Our seminars are graphic and to the point.

WE DON'T TEACH:

High dexterity self-defense techniques, forms, material that takes years to master. We want to give you the best tools in the shortest amount of time.

HOW MUCH DO YOUR SEMINARS COST:

BHMA members using our name and logos will always do seminars at no cost.  Our payment is in knowing that we are doing a community service..

ARE YOUR INSTRUCTORS CERTIFIED:

Each instructor is certified in their art and has spent years in training.  This is their certification. We do not sell certification as we are in this to save lives. We never want our motives questioned. Our members have already been doing free anti-abduction seminars for years to great reviews. Never charging a dime. Each member can use our logos at any time for free as long as they charge no money and continue with their education in the martial arts. They must represent us and themselves in a positive manner. We encourage our members to hold at least two such seminars a year. We prefer just before summer starts, and when kids return to school in the fall. Also check our member roster for member credentials.

HOW CAN WE BE A PART OF THIS:

This is easy just join our forum and spread your knowledge, and learn from others. Keep  things positive. Hold instructor training in your area. If you are a martial arts instructor then you already have a great base in which to draw from. Just keep your material simple and effective.

SEMINARS SAVE LIVES, TRUE STORY:

A 10 year old girl that attended one of our anti-abduction seminars had this to say.

"When I was in a grocery store a man saw I had cat food. He said his cat died, and he had some cat food out in his truck. He told me to come out to his truck and get it. I remembered the seminar and didn't go outside with the man."
